I don't know how I came upon this but I have nothing to argue against it.

Agreed.

Now Battlefield 3 wasn't that bad of a game. I still thoroughly enjoy it. And while Origin was basically an attack on Valve to get a foothold on the PC market, it isn't going anywhere as fast as Steam. I mean, green light just about guaranteed Valve a lot more attention from Indie producers and other marketers looking to extend themselves onto PC. EA hardly stands a chance in the PC arena. Besides, I play games for the games, not for the businesses they come from.

Same here, though it is very easy to bash EA for some of their more crappy decisions.

It's morning, I woke up and... I don't feel good. I feel sick. I better stay at home.

Microsoft actually lost about 30% of their possible sales of the Halo franchise because they dropped it from PCs. They thought it was just that PC users wouldn't buy any Halo game anymore, but really it was just that Halo 2 sucked that bad that PC users wouldn't buy that specific title.

Halo 4 for PC = Microsoft's income for the game increases 50-75%

It died on PC with Halo 2 because they thought it was a good idea to make it Vista exclusive around a time that vista could barely do anything right. Not only that but it had DRM of about 3 installs or so.
