On one hand, this means Lucas can't fuck up the franchise anymore.

On another hand, this means Disney can fuck up the franchise more than Lucas has.

I'll give it 15 years before I pass judgement.

I didn't really like Tron: Legacy too much. The story, in my opinion, took a backseat to "OOoooooOOOOooo! Lookit the new graphics!" And the characters they had were very muddled and too often took me out of immersion.

I much prefer the original Tron (I have it on Blu Ray) because the graphics were primitive and they didn't get in the way of the story and the characters.

In other news, my old avatar and other stuff is back now that Halloween is (*sniff*) over for another year.

I still like Legacy, though, and want a sequel. I think it might be like with people liking the Transformers movies. *I* don't get it. I've watched them all and I just can't understand why people like them so much, but it must be the same way with me and Legacy. I like to think Legacy is a smarter movie than Transformers, though.

Well, with Michael Bay involved it's about boobs, racism, explosions, and SOME Optimus Prime. I dunno, maybe I just appeal to Tron more because Bay tainted my view on Transformers for the longest time until War for Cybertron came out and I watched the older animated movie. And he's gonna do the same with Ninja Turtles? God I fear the future.

I might see Wreck It Ralph in theaters. But I'd like to watch it with friends rather than family for once. I don't think I've EVER seen a movie without a family member before. That's just sad.
