Anyway, to change the subject, it just dawned on me that Zazu from Lion King's face looks exactly like Rowan Atkinson's face. Just watch Lion King and Black Adder back to back and you'll see what I mean. Probably no coincidence though as he voiced the character.

If you wait for a post to be "worthy" of a rep point you're never going to give any out. I'm not sure what I find more annoying though: rep spamming like when SOMEPONY gives another 8 points in a row with little to no reason relating to the post itself, or when people don't give rep at all on reasons of "principle" or overly high standards.

Well yes, but that's not the point. I was talking about rainbow dash too, who took things to an annoying far level. But that's not the point either. I'm just saying that when someone (not necessarily you) gives another person a huge number of points in a row it feels really annoying from the perspective of angry rep haters and those unfortunate to not be on the receiving end. I think rep should be given out more freely rather than held until rep spamming feels necessary.

 

The only real service the rep system does is provide a way to distinguish very active or exceptionally productive users. When it gets used for completely thoughtless reasons it gives people the impression that it's a poor/bias system that only tells you who managed to spam each other the most.

Rep spamming, whether positive or negative, is highly looked down upon by mods and admins as well. And we have the power to moderate rep points.

I should probably be less strict on what I deem rep worthy, considering I have 160+ points to give and I rarely do. You gotsta earn the rep point from me.

Awesome! I can't wait to see some DLC bundles on Steam!

 

Honestly, I think this is a great thing for Elite subscribers. Few developers really offer this amount of variety for their players really.

 

But yeah, since I'm not an Elite member I guess I'll wait for the PC versions.
