Cool thing about being an employee in the Canadian Federal or Provincial government is that they will handle all debt related to schooling. 25% of all incurred expenses per year. It's like being paid twice.

I wish circumstances like that were easy to come by. Tuition costs and the US job market are enough for me to say 'screw it' to the idea of going to college.

There are a couple of private companies with locations in the US that do something similar, except they get butthurt about 'helping' if you quit or if they fire you by making you pay back the debt.

Yeah the unfortunate thing is that while it was mostly true in the past, having a degree is not a guarantee of employment anymore.

There is no coffee mug large enough to properly represent how incredible of a father Geoff is.

I love you, yet can't stand to know you exist.

Mr. Blue: Hey here's something- Koach told me he thinks the forum is losing its charm, mostly because of mainline posting by a few select members in a few select threads

Mr. Blue: and not many new threads

W. Ludwick: i've noticed it too...what do you think?

Mr. Blue: I also think Accursed Farms is winding down from what it was in the summer

Mr. Blue: then again, most forums do through the winter

Mr. Blue: But insuch I do not defend a change for the negative. Forums always change, but its possible to be for the worse. Again though, the worst way to approach the future ass-forwards in fear of negative change

W. Ludwick: hmmm

W. Ludwick: yea, it's slowly losing it's charm. Why do you think it is

Mr. Blue: Maybe not everyone is posting at the same rate as we are.

Mr. Blue: encourage others to post less frequently; like waiting hours or more between posts, or if they already do, only browse once every day

Mr. Bluer: If people are resistant to that suggestion, refer them to the Addicts thread

W. Ludwick: so you're saying our incessant posting is intimidating newer members?

Mr. Blue: Maybe even more than that, frequenters that have less access.

Mr. Blue: not everyone is a sit-at-home all day. (And I wouldn't say incessant is the right word)

W. Ludwick: yea i'll do what i can in that regard.

I'm not sure frequent posting would intimidate new users. If I want to say something or give my opinion, I'm going to, whether I'm new to the forum or not.

Wait, what happens during summer that is different from the rest of the year?

Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time

No, more kids have more free time, thus the forums are more active.
