They are aiming at $300 per headset... Same price as Google Glass is aiming at. Now I have to save $600... *sigh*

My friend's friend has one, but I missed his party, and may not get a chance to try them.

Mount a 3D camera to the googles and now you can have 3D vision while wearing the goggles. ;)

Just one good camera on each side, preferable the ones that don't require any form of focusing. That would enable them to become a complete VR overlay system... Augmented Reality, here we come...

You could program the goggles to block all content (visual or digital) that includes that particular person or dance move.

Is 'chief' seriously the new replacement for the words cool/boss/tight? Pick a fucking word, people. Or just stick with 'cool'. It's transcended at least two generations, so far. There's nothing really wrong with it.

I prefer "shiny" myself, but almost nobody understands me when I use it.

Haven't heard that one, but I don't socialize as much as I'd like, so there's that.

And yet you probably socialize more than me.

Hmm... Not sure, I tend to stick to more vintage vernacular myself.

I'd like to hear people use words like "Grody" or "Mondo" more often.

OH MAN THAT SHIT'S TOTALLY MONDO

the name's riley

I'd like to stay away from late 70's and 80's vernacular if you don't mind. I don't mind 60's and early/mid 70's though.

No, too stupid. I was instilled with the OCDs of an English professor at a young age, and it irks me when the meaning of established words are changed to mean the same as another established word, all for the purpose of sounding "cool". (I know, a bit hypocritical of me to use slang terminology from pre-80's without dislike, and loathe anything newer, but that's just how it goes) I didn't have any problem when they came up with the word "bling" simply because it was never a word previously, and because there was no other word that accurately described what it did. (expensive, ostentatious clothing and jewelry, or the wearing of them)

If the word is appropriating the meaning of another word for no reason other than to "sound cool", it doesn't deserve to be used or accepted.
