Tell me about it. It's even worse when there is tons of productive stuff you can do.

It's even worse when you can think of all the productive things you could do if you had the computer that's sitting in your parents' closet, being useless until Christmas.

It's even even even worse when I have a buttload of time and stuff to do but just can't get anything done because all I can think about is this longing feeling of being with a certain someone to the point where I can't wait for the weekend to be over and school to start so I will see her again.

It's even even even worse when you know exactly what you have to do, have the tools you need to do it, but can't scrounge up so much as a single fuck to pay the working toll!

(Though not really worse, obviously)

In other news, I am entirely fed up with this stupid fucking country and it's unavoidable economic collapse and how I'm stuck in it for the forseeable future not like it would matter because most other places aren't much better and really why is it so fucking hard to live a half decent life on planet earth god damn can everyone just get along

can everyone just get along

If it was possible, I'd love to personally see to it that the world gets their shit together and forms under one banner. (Or at least support each other instead of screwing each other over) Commander Shepard style.

Unfortunately, that would mean that everybody stops being assholes, which is almost impossible to get ONE person to do, let alone everybody.

What we need is a catastrophic event like a world scale natural disaster (preferably not a nuclear war, due to the immense repercussions it would have on chances of renewing life.) But we need something that will kill off a huge majority of the human race and force everyone to band together if they want to survive.

The bird flu needs just one mutation in just one gean to make it posibal for it to spread from bird to man and back, if this happens there would be a world wide epidemic, we will need to stay in are homes for 3 months because its not safe to be out side, your tap water won't be safe ether, it is predicted that 1/4 of the worlds population will die from the flu, and another 1/4 will die from the madness of it all.

That would kill mostly the stupid people.

Do we really need to have a vastly tragic event to shake people up? Does it really have to come to that? It's like that in fiction all the time. And honestly, I'm not even sure it'd do anything in the long run if we almost got screwed over by some civilization-changing event that actually had consequences.

Every one is lost in there own little worlds, filled with hate, self pity, and vapid self interest. And we all need something to snap us all out of it, something that can't be forgotten, something that would permanently effect every thing every where, something that no mater where you look you can see it, some thing that starts fast and ends just as fast. We need a wake up call, and we need it now.
