I've never been skiing aside from Tribes, and I plan to keep it that way. Going really fast down a mountain on thin pieces of wood/plastic is too much for my blood.

Really? That's not really skiing for me. For me, skiing is just going on trips into the woods on skis during winter and spring and sit down by a fire with some Kit Kat and sausages and hot chocolate and just enjoy life.
