Do you think if you tell your manager that you are calling off work due to Clinomania that she won't bother to look it up and just hope you feel better? Somebody should test it!

I have missed 15 days of school this year, 7 of which were due to clinomania. And I still have a 4.4.

the "mania" part makes it sound like a psychological disorder, whcih doesn't usually get you off of work. Try finding one with a more frightening name.

 

Also, say "the doctors couldn't figure out what it was, but they said worst case scenario is that its Clinomania. They say I've already started the pandiculation [yawning and stretching at the same time]."

 

And adding "its contagious" always helps.
