Karl Posted November 30, 2011 The moment I get like 1.3 refined, I immediately buy a hat to craft with. It's like a drug, I tells ya. Just need one dragonborn helm, then I'll be fine...yeah...I'll be fine then....just need that fix.... I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HATS I SWEAR! Share this post Link to post
Collective Foal Posted November 30, 2011 I never had a problem with hats, though I like looking like I'm a decent player, because HATS=SKILL I can't shake the comments from when I switched from Halloween Mask to Ghastlier Ghibus and everybody was like "Look out! He's going super-pro!" Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time Share this post Link to post

Karl Posted November 30, 2011 I never had a problem with hats, though I like looking like I'm a decent player, becauseHATS=SKILL I can't shake the comments from when I switched from Halloween Mask to Ghastlier Ghibus and everybody was like "Look out! He's going super-pro!" Y'know, as someone who plays medic a lot, sometimes the hat can be comforting in a way. Usually people with hats get them over time, which means they have experience with the game. Unless they cop out and buy them, or just find it via drop. There's obviously exceptions, but I'm probably gonna uber the Heavy with a Pre-Purchase over the Ghastly Gibus Heavy. Too many times have I ubered a gibused demo who pulls out his pipe launcher, misses every shot on the sentry, forgets he has stickies, and goes up to hit it with his bottle. Collective Foal Posted November 30, 2011 I still do that because my Sticky combat SUCKS BALLS! I am pretty great with the pipes, but my stickies are terrible. When I want to fire at something, I either hold the M1 down (can't be done because that charges shots) or hit the M1 rapidly. That puts my sticky timing off and I only fire one every .8 seconds. I have to learn the timing for launching my stickies at some point, then I'll make a better Demo. Oh, and it seems my PC's been postponed. I'm probably jot getting the 3.75 GPA, so I'll have to wait for my birthday in April. Sorry guys Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time Share this post Link to post
Axeldeath Posted November 30, 2011 If I find a choke point where I can abuse my stickies then my sticky spam knows no bounds, I suck at nading anyone at medium range though. Share this post Link to post

alphabetagamma Posted December 1, 2011 What's up with people destroying their saxxy anyway? I count two so far in a few weeks. I still do that because my Sticky combat SUCKS BALLS! Collective Foal Posted December 1, 2011 Double post much? And what do you mean by people destroying their Saxxy? Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time Share this post Link to post
Karl Posted December 1, 2011 Some guy deleted his Saxxy because he hates tf2 and wanted attention or some shit. When a saxxy is deleted, it shows up as a global message to everybody. Same thing happened with a bunch of the golden wrenches, but as I recall, that was for charity. Share this post Link to post
alphabetagamma Posted December 1, 2011 Double post much? Not an intentional double post. This is the second time this has happened as well and it's getting irritating. Some guy deleted his Saxxy because he hates tf2 and wanted attention or some shit. There was another one destroyed recently. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/613844102321671277/90116378F3CD052BC952052760C6BA4CB8916448/ Share this post Link to post
Jek Jek Roo Posted December 1, 2011 Hat's are important. Very important. I really enjoy my Master's yellow belt painted into mann co orange, my lime colored Texas 10 Galoon and my new Geisha boy. If I get a hat in a drop and I don't like it, I sell it for another, better hat. Or something bigger. That's how I got the Shadenfreude taunt. Collective Foal Posted December 1, 2011 I want the Medic's Tyrhennean or whatever the hell it's called. All I know is it looks like a yodeler hat. Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time Share this post Link to post
The Scoutman Posted December 1, 2011 So far, all the non-promo hats i have are from random drops, and so far i got decent ones: 1 Stout Shako 1 Noble amassment of hats 1 Defiant Spartan (painted) 1 Familial Fez After 500 hours of gameplay, hopefully, it has been worth the weight. Blightmare Posted December 2, 2011 God... It seems like every time I stray out of Valve or Team Interrobang servers, if I'm not finding botted servers, I'm finding heavily modded servers or RTD. Would it kill some active clans not to bog down their servers shitless with bad mods and just go vanilla? Getting a little tired of server hopping. oh yeah, and when I DO find a good unmodded unbotted server, it's hosted in Europe and my ping does not like Europe. -.- We westerners need to learn to like vanilla. The only alternatives to Valve and TI are Protf2(they bot but at least the bots disappear on the active ones.) or Newbstf2 and neither are the best places to get better. :/ Retired Forum Moderator Share this post Link to post
Jek Jek Roo Posted December 2, 2011 I've been connected with aussie server few days ago. I was laggy as heck but I bought the crossbow there. "Even if something sounds logical, it doesn't mean it have to be true" Share this post Link to post
Axeldeath Posted December 2, 2011 NZ servers aren't modded but they're almost always empty, Aus servers are usually trade servers. Share this post Link to post
