I never had a problem with hats, though I like looking like I'm a decent player, because

I never had a problem with hats, though I like looking like I'm a decent player, because

I can't shake the comments from when I switched from Halloween Mask to Ghastlier Ghibus and everybody was like "Look out! He's going super-pro!"

 

Y'know, as someone who plays medic a lot, sometimes the hat can be comforting in a way. Usually people with hats get them over time, which means they have experience with the game. Unless they cop out and buy them, or just find it via drop. There's obviously exceptions, but I'm probably gonna uber the Heavy with a Pre-Purchase over the Ghastly Gibus Heavy.

 

Too many times have I ubered a gibused demo who pulls out his pipe launcher, misses every shot on the sentry, forgets he has stickies, and goes up to hit it with his bottle.

I still do that because my Sticky combat SUCKS BALLS! I am pretty great with the pipes, but my stickies are terrible. When I want to fire at something, I either hold the M1 down (can't be done because that charges shots) or hit the M1 rapidly. That puts my sticky timing off and I only fire one every .8 seconds. I have to learn the timing for launching my stickies at some point, then I'll make a better Demo.

 

Oh, and it seems my PC's been postponed. I'm probably jot getting the 3.75 GPA, so I'll have to wait for my birthday in April. Sorry guys

If I find a choke point where I can abuse my stickies then my sticky spam knows no bounds, I suck at nading anyone at medium range though.

When a saxxy is deleted, it shows up as a global message to everybody. Same thing happened with a bunch of the golden wrenches, but as I recall, that was for charity.

Hat's are important. Very important. I really enjoy my Master's yellow belt painted into mann co orange, my lime colored Texas 10 Galoon and my new Geisha boy.

 

If I get a hat in a drop and I don't like it, I sell it for another, better hat. Or something bigger. That's how I got the Shadenfreude taunt.

So far, all the non-promo hats i have are from random drops, and so far i got decent ones:

 

1 Stout Shako

1 Noble amassment of hats

1 Defiant Spartan (painted)

1 Familial Fez

 

After 500 hours of gameplay, hopefully, it has been worth the weight.

God... It seems like every time I stray out of Valve or Team Interrobang servers, if I'm not finding botted servers, I'm finding heavily modded servers or RTD. Would it kill some active clans not to bog down their servers shitless with bad mods and just go vanilla? Getting a little tired of server hopping.

 

oh yeah, and when I DO find a good unmodded unbotted server, it's hosted in Europe and my ping does not like Europe. -.- We westerners need to learn to like vanilla.

 

The only alternatives to Valve and TI are Protf2(they bot but at least the bots disappear on the active ones.) or Newbstf2 and neither are the best places to get better. :/

NZ servers aren't modded but they're almost always empty, Aus servers are usually trade servers.
