Blue Posted November 27, 2011 Whenever I see a ranked strange weapon, I always think "Face-melting" is the best rank, because it reminds me of this entry in the Propaganda Contest: Best Attempt to Make Soldier Look Melting This is a nice metric server. No imperial dimensions, please. Share this post Link to post
alphabetagamma Posted November 27, 2011 I like Hale's own over Facemelting or ? Share this post Link to post
Collective Foal Posted November 27, 2011 I'm still trying to fight my shit graphics card and get out of my nooby "Scarcely Lethal" rank for my shotgun. Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time Share this post Link to post

Blightmare Posted November 27, 2011 Got the Deus Specs today, making that the most valuable thing in my inventory, metal wise. Item sheet has it listed at 3-4 ref. O_o Retired Forum Moderator Share this post Link to post

Blightmare Posted November 27, 2011 I didn't, actually. now I'm gonna sell em and get what I've been after all this time. Once the item server decides to come back online. been down for hours... Retired Forum Moderator Share this post Link to post
Collective Foal Posted November 27, 2011 Who came up with the metal values of items. It's kind of cool how TF2 has it's own currency network. Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time Share this post Link to post

But the community spreadsheet is fairly well respected. http://tf2spreadsheet.blogspot.com/ Share this post Link to post

alphabetagamma Posted November 28, 2011 Crate Item Mann Co. Supply Crate (series 30) 8 - 10 ref WTF? Thats why i barely trade, im pretty sure i will be scammed Series 30 is the salvaged crate series, extremely rare. S. Machina, Caber, Holy Mackerel, Gunslinger, etc. Share this post Link to post
Karl Posted November 28, 2011 It costs that high because almost everything you can get from unboxing it also costs extremely high. Share this post Link to post
alphabetagamma Posted November 28, 2011 It costs that high because almost everything you can get from unboxing it also costs extremely high.Well the majority of items are. The machina, gunslinger and kritzkrieg are all worth more than the crate and key by a variable margin, but the caber and mackerel are a fairly large loss. I think I need to take a break from any and all trading. There are so many scammers out there that it's sickening. Everyone is overselling or underbuying everything. No one's buying anything nowadays anyway. Share this post Link to post
Blightmare Posted November 28, 2011 I finally got my ol snaggletooth and S. Sticky. Those Deus Specs sure did come in handy. Though I do owe ABG (once again) a rec since those price hikers got the best of me after the tenth person wanted me to buy for 2.3 ref not just 2 ref. <_< Retired Forum Moderator Share this post Link to post
Collective Foal Posted November 28, 2011 My code has always been to avoid trading unless I really want an item, then I'll ask if anyone wants to trade for it on my current server. I don't really care for trade servers. Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time Share this post Link to post
Karl Posted November 29, 2011 I'm trying to stay away from trading in general too. I impulse craft hats waaaaaay too much. Sometimes it ends up really good, like when I crafted my Team Captain, but that causes me to then craft like 3 other of my hats together and I end up with an Engy Cap. Share this post Link to post
Collective Foal Posted November 29, 2011 SHUT UP! I've never had the ability to craft a hat as I only play the game maybe once a month (if that) And BTW, There's a TF2 item acknowledging the existence of Dr. Who and the fact that Bowties are cool! http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Dr._Whoa Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time Share this post Link to post
Blightmare Posted November 30, 2011 If I wasn't such an impulsive buyer (and warehouse for all of ABG's unwanted goods) Then I'd probably have well over enough metal to take part in this pass-time. Retired Forum Moderator Share this post Link to post
