Memory could not be "Read" is not an unusual error for Windows operating systems. It happens when a command string is too long for the program's permitted memory allocation, so it stops the program. The error in question actually has a broad range of possible causes or symptoms, so here's a Steam Help thing on that problem.

If you work your way down those possible fixes and nothing works, ask Steam Support and they'll get to you.

Thanks, I'll try to fix it. I havn't got such error before, so I don't know what to do.

This free week is awesome, I finally got another copy for my new Steam account!

 

Now to delete everything off my computer so I can run TF2 smoothly and not do anything else for the next few hundred hours!
