The Scoutman Posted March 10, 2011 It is a little overwhelming, but in the end you just need some practice, about the new weapons, they are just a bit tricky,if you play at least 1 time with every class you see that most weapons just changed class BTW still some of the best weapons are the original ones The future of gaming lies in realistic simulations of extraordinary realities "I am drunk, you dont have an excuse" Share this post Link to post
Lord Sinister Posted March 12, 2011 And the latest content release, the Shogun Pack, to tie in with the release of that new Total War game. http://www.teamfortress.com/shogunpack/ Four new hats and four new weapons, which you get if you buy Shogun2 Total War. And for those confused by the large amount of stuff in Team Fortress 2, this may help: http://wiki.teamfortress.com Feel free to PM me about almost anything and I'll do my best to answer. The Scoutman Posted March 12, 2011 four new weapons I still didnt get to test spy new kunai, does it recover your health after a backstab or it increases your max health? Lord Sinister Posted March 13, 2011 four new weapons I still didnt get to test spy new kunai, does it recover your health after a backstab or it increases your max health? It acts as though you've been overhealed, so your health slowly counts down to 60 from around 180 I think it is. I tried to craft it four times, ended up with four Eternal Rewards. Collective Foal Posted March 13, 2011 I like the idea of the fan o' war, but it could use a slight damage boost. The effects of meatshot minicrits are incredible though. Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time Share this post Link to post
Blue Posted March 15, 2011 I greatly enjoy Team Fortress 2, it's my single-most played game. It doesn't have a story necessary, but functionally it's exemplary for the statement that games don't need them all the time. As a frequenter of the Engineer class, I'm used to getting the short end of the stick simply because the Engineer as a class has the biggest footprint on the gameplay dynamic than any other class, bar the Medic. Sentries, Dispensers and Teleporters affect your team far more than most can appreciate. This is a nice metric server. No imperial dimensions, please. Share this post Link to post

Lord Sinister Posted March 20, 2011 "Story in a game is like story in a porn. It's expected to be there but it's not really that important." - John Carmack, id Software. When was that statement made? I have to disagree with it, I think whether a story is important or not in a game depends very much on what the game is. Feel free to PM me about almost anything and I'll do my best to answer. Blue Posted March 28, 2011 I do not like how so many weapons becoming availible for some classes has added emphasis on those classes, such as Demomen. It makes it difficult in many situations to succeed as Heavy or Engineer, even with the options available to them. This is a nice metric server. No imperial dimensions, please. Lord Sinister Posted April 12, 2011 its scrap metal and eternal reward for the kunai. Yeah, now it is, it didn't have a proper recipe whilst the promotion was on, but you could get it by crafting Spy melee weapons with tokens.
