I also am a big fan of apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic survival movies/games, especially when it includes at least a little science fiction... I must be slightly Russian...

Yes, we do.

 

Usually, it goes like this - a) getting bored to hell, b) can't bother to do anything because bored to hell, c) things go bad to worse to apocalyptic - cue much excitement in order to survive, d) survived, getting bored to hell...

 

When things go too well for too long - seek help from the French or the Germans, when those aren't forthcoming - ask the Americans...
