gonna bring back an old one:

"Size and shape it does not lack

but does top, bottom, front, and back

a bending light around a bare tree

shining bright for all to see"

I googled and cheated, so I shall not post my answer, but it makes no sense to me at all.

My riddle:

A man was found dead with a knife in his hand.

When the police investigated, there was a tape recorder,

when played it said "Goodbye world, I'm going to die!"

Immediately, the police know it was a murder.

How?

It's a tape recorder, right? Well, if the dead man recorded the tape as he died and then the police just pressed "play", they wouldn't hear anything except for what might have already been on the tape because the death was recorded "before" that point on the tape. Someone would have to rewind the tape so that they can play and hear it.

What special equipment is there to see imaginary friends? Anyway, that's not the answer.

The first two lines make it seem like a sphere of some sort, but the last two make me question how it could be a sphere, so I'll go with a sphere.

A silhouette.

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

When he tells you, the bare tree part is going to be one of those things where nobody would ever make the connection and you'll want to strangle him for it.

Look on the google result titled Nexus Forums. Then go like 2 or 3 pages further than the original riddle post.
