Trying to figure out how i managed to break my finger and not notice it until a day later when the whole thing turned a sickly color.

Beating my head into my computer desk because my fucking video card stopped working.

Now trying in vain to sleep off my failure. Just can't get that "sleep" part figured out.

The last final of the quarter and the instructor is drawing out the preparation.

So basically, sitting here festering in anxiety waiting for this to start.

Waiting quietly. Poised for the strike. Aiming to kill.

You know, after this, things will never be the same. I'll never be able to get back what I've given up, but at the same time, I'll never have the same opportunities to gain so much in such little time. It would be stupid of me to not fight this fight in the interest of preserving a few petty material possessions. I feel, we all must participate in what's to come, otherwise we can't really respect ourselves. Our inner demons are barking at the gates, prepared for a true slaughter, going to war with our own powers of mental strength and self control. They will probably win, but in this instance, in this one single instance, I honestly think it's a good thing. Everybody has to lose control over themselves now and again, and this is the most productive way of doing so that I can see. So I wish you all well, and hope the onslaught of temptation that you shall indubitably succumb to will leave your soul intact and your pride unscathed. My brothers and sisters, I wish you strength and courage and hope to see you all on the other side of this heinous yet glorious event that shall be remembered across the ages. Fight well.

*Puff* Page number? What? *Puff* *Puff* Ahhhhhahahahaha! *Puff*

Seriously though, playing keep away with my girlfriend and her older niece, using her younger niece as the ball. (Note: We're NOT throwing her. Gentle passing only.) We just lost for the first time, now the little one has the baby. This has been surprisingly fun.

Opening magic boosters, and pulled a $50.00 card. Anyone else play?

Occasionally... It's far too difficult to find other players around here. I mostly run infect, since I built a massively powerful $50 infect deck that could turn most people's $1000 deck to jelly. I do have two infectless decks though, because my nephew requested I not obliterate him with "unblockable and untargetable, you have 10 turns to live", or "1-hit-kill with trample" infect again.

Make a thread for Magic in the gaming section, and I'll see if there's a way we can play a round through the internet. [EDIT] Go get http://www.apprentice.nu/ and we should be able to play.

OT: Adjusting to my new haircut... I'll post pictures later.

Pondering the applicability of severe mental illness in game design, and in particular ways to make the player get in character so this can really get to them, personally, without ever telling them they are mentally ill.
