Watching DBZ. I've come to the realization that even though, by human standards, Krillin is a fucking god, he's absolutely useless in the series.

That's because he's a god by human standards. But by comparison, Earthlings are pretty much the weakest people by default. Sure, they can train and become strong, but compared to Super Saiyans and Namekians and all that shit, they're pretty screwed.

What I don't get is how bullets just kinda bounce of of them (the super-human alien guys). It's a piece of streamlined lead moving at you faster than sound. I don't care how ripped you are. Metal will pierce muscles.

 

Also, Krillin vs. Mr. Satan (Hercule) in a fight?

Also, why does shonen intentionally use names offensive to Judeo-Christian culture to upset Western viewers? I never got that. I mean, Hercule doesn't seem like a bad guy, he's just full of himself, yet his name's Mr. Satan. Whatever.

I'm not sure it was intentional, was it? Just translated from Japanese, and they didn't figure it'd be that offensive. Honestly, I don't really see why. Yeah, his name is Satan, but is that really a big deal? It's not even spelled the same. Really, the only person who should be offended is Hercule himself, and he's not real. :/

Getting irritated with this computer and hoping somebody can help me:

 

Right now, my screen resolution is stuck at 640x480. The computer was left on overnight and for some reason, when I woke it up, it had reverted to this resolution.

 

When I go into the display options to change the resolution back to 1280x1024, it tells me that my monitor is a "Flat Panel Monitor (640x480)," implying that 640x480 is the highest the resolution can go, when obviously that's not the case, as it was at 1280x1024 yesterday.

 

Help please?

Impossible. The background has a fading effect. Are you saving it as a .png?

Impossible. The background has a fading effect. Are you saving it as a .png?

All I have to work with is an iPhone, what I do is I tap on the pic then hit save image, then go to the UCP and select the pic from my photo library. That is the only way I can do it.

I'm fairly certain that's not the problem, as it was at the normal res until my mom signed into her account, at which point, it glitched out and reverted to 640. Strangely enough, it's still at 32bit color...
