Post what you're doing right now

Yeah, sorry, but URL's don't work that way. Either you wanted to post an embedded YouTube video, in which case you can't have text in the link and have to use the YouTube tags, or you tried to post a link to the video, in which case you should've included the full link and not just the YouTube ID...

Anyway, having some breakfast and getting ready for work.

I know how it works, I just came here with intent to embed it but decided against it because it really wasn't worth it but forgot that I only posted the ID but didn't preview it because the quick-replies don't have that button. I know how the tags work.

OT: Watching youtube videos to avoid doing work.

Haven't been able to fall asleep all night. So I've been up, getting my hopes up and looking around for reviews on the components on my soon to be PC. From what I've seen, it's nothing special. Just able to run Crysis on Ultra and whatnot. Like I said, no big deal [/sarcasm]

Funny thing is, Crysis isn't the "ultimate stress test" any more, because it is TERRIBLY optimized for newer systems. It will run bad even if you far exceed the specs that SHOULD run it well; I know this from personal experience. For example, I have a PC that can run Battlefield Bad Company 2 (graphics hog from 2010) on max settings at a decent framerate, but Call of Duty 4 (a mediocre-looking game from 2007) runs like absolute crap on it at medium-high settings.

Now a days, Battlefield 3 or possibly the yet-unreleased Crysis 3 will be your best bet.

OT: Mixing and mastering and all that fun stuff.

Depends on whether you run the 32bit or 64bit versions of Crysis. The 64bit version is optimized to take full advantage of 64bit systems and multicore CPU's so if you play the 32bit executable on a 64bit system, regardless of how good your PC is, that version won't be able to take full advantage of your rig.

Torrenting Renegade X, (don't worry, it's a free game anyways) and trying to fix/upgrade my brother's desktop.

Just took my SAT's. Just like last time, I destroyed the Math and Writing, but the Reading is always so subjective. It really pisses me off. But overall, I think I did pretty well.

I'm glad I did mine long before the writing was required... I don't write the way they want me to, and I have trouble making a subject take more words than it should. (I managed to get a C on a 1 paragraph paper when the project was for a 30 page report)

On topic: About to go see if I want to eat... Maybe...

Trying to go to sleep but neighbor that I share a wall with (I live in an apartment building) has decided that now is the perfect time to play the stereo at volumes where I can actually feel the wall vibrating and I'm not touching it.

Grr...

Less than an hour before "quiet hours" begins, thankfully.

Baking Beer Bread. You can smell it everywhere.

I prefer drinking beer, not eating it, personally.

My friend, you're missing out on selected slices of heaven that is recipes involving beer or other alcohols in their cooking process. It's intent is not to get drunk, but add a unique flavor to the food that normally cannot be achieved otherwise. besides, the alcohol itself cooks out, leaving only the flavor.

One such recipe is beer basted steak and GOD is it good.

in fact, on topic, I'm looking up some recipes of just such a nature.

Wishing it was frickin' cold. Seriously it's December, I shouldn't need to be running my air conditioner!
