Reading said fic. All I can say is wow bad parenting. other than that, the writing is decent. The story direction isn't made clear but I think I do see where it's headed.

lol damn. I was actually going to edit it to "pretty good" but you caught me first. It did seem like it was written in a more venting fashion than the typical descriptive nature most stories would use but that's not necessarily a downside. Some people can feel a little edgy about reading harsh worded descriptions like that which is why I bring it up but I think in this case it drives the point home.

Welp, I just woke up from my caffeine induced coma. My kidneys were absolutely killiing me. Apparently if you drink a lot of caffeinated beverages over the night, your kidneys get overloaded with processing, who would've guessed it, CAFFEINE. France and her allies, including Russia and Sweden, just declared war on me in Victoria II. I'm playing as Germany, around the 1870's or so. My army is in shambles from two separate wars with Austria, and five with the Netherlands. France is ridiculously powerful, Russia has twice my population, and Sweden is north of me, meaning I've got three Great Powers about to attack me from three directions.
