i'll offer my critique when it's done.

 

i'm guessing the hardpoint pylons are to be added later, or you're going with the hardpoint(s) being underneath the plane under a bay door. also i can barely see the vertical flight fan but i'm guessing that's going to be underneath some sort of bay door that'll reveal the fan after a trigger or rig. you're planning to make the canopy transparent right?

 

but i do like the paint scheme you're going for, i'm guessing i'll like it more after you do that lighting thing you do.

 

are you planning to release it on youtube?

The model itself is kind of blocky, but the texture is pretty good so far. What aircraft is that?

Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II.

 

i'm a big fan of the plane because it has the STOVL(short take-off with vertical landing.)

It does?! Oh, this plane is beast. Equip it less for Air superiority and more towards an all-purpose aircraft like the F-18 and you've got yourself a war-winner!

there are three variants:

 

F-35A- conventional take-off and landing (CTOL)

F-35B- Short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL)

and the F-35C- the Carrier based CATOBAR variant.

 

this fucker will be the last thing charlie will want to see for a long time(i think it's still in testing phases though.)

JC, they obviously don't understand just how awesome you are. You need to walk in there, slap someone of authoritative status and say, "You're my bitch and I'm taking charge of things around here! Now go get me some coffee!"

The paint probably is the reason why it looks blocky, it's actually pretty smooth in a colorless shader.

I don't actually know which variant has underwing hardpoints. But you incorrectly assumed I was making an F-35B (which has a partially bulbous region behind the cockpit, where the VTOL fan is stowed under smoothed retractable doors) but I'm making an F-35A, which does not have VTOL capabilities, nor is it Carrier-capable.

 

The canopy I'll worry about later.
