Do I live in the only place ever that only gets snow in January or February?

So far we am still stuck on the 2 days of snow we had a couple of weeks ago. No signs of change for the better so far either. But it's not only the snow I want, I want the ice as well. Nothing feels as good as falling on your ass on ice being laughed at knowing you get to do the same.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Staying up too late, having been coding and playing League of Legends.

Feel free to PM me about almost anything and I'll do my best to answer. :)

So my dad took my headphones away because I didn't respond when he called me. I have no mic and a shitty pair of buds now. Can anyone help me come up with a way to hear my dad when he calls me while I'm playing, so I can keep the headphones?

Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time

I feel for ya bro. What I just do is have one of the earpads only half-on my ear (typically the one closer to my door), so I can hear just enough out of it for someone calling me to be audible. It does mess up the stereo imaging slightly, but it's worth it in the long run.

Truthfully, I'd feel disappointed in my father.

Do you feel disappointed in your parents?

I was in that boat for a while. For me though it was just that I took off my headphones whenever he was in my room or down the hallway; further than that and he knew to walk closer. Also I just have good peripheral hearing.

Or just don't play video games until he's sleeping. That's what I do.

OT: watching ponies more than half a day late.

Learning that high caloric foods can have the same awakeness effect as caffeine. I can tell because I've just accidentally stayed up 3 hours later than I usually do.

I bought a closed ear headset so I couldn't hear my parent calling me. I regret nothing.

Watched The Hobbit a few hours ago. I picked a good movie to watch :)

Am I the only one that noticed the damn Wilhelm scream during the fights with the thingies on the bridge?

Really? Because I think it sounds absolutely ridiculous and tends to stick out like sore thumb. I don't know why it is still being used/
