Installing Origin. Seems pretty useless so far, but might come in handy whenever I get a game that requires it.

 

Seriously though, why EA have decided to use Origin instead of releasing their games on Steam is beyond me.

 

Bigger profit margins.

 

-edit- Just finished DNF. And WTF, it ends on the dam level? What happened to the jetpacks? I guess that would have made the game too fun.

 

This game seems to be the embodiment of every bad game design choice from the last 12 years. And really? Only 7 hours long for a game that took so long to develop? Nobody should buy this game, you have to be a huge fan of Duke's 2-dimensional character to even get any enjoyment out of it. Serious Sam does Duke better than this game, and Bulletstorm does Duke better than this game. Just buy one of those.

O.T. Taking in the fact that I just now beat Assassin's Creed 2 and the ending made a lot more sense to me than others made it out to be. Now considering putting down money for Brotherhood and Revelations. Also watching this.

Just got done watching The Rock again. Still an awesome movie. Hummel has to be my favorite movie villain, mainly because he is not really a villain, in fact I actually cared for him the most out of any of the characters. Also regardless of what other people say, I like Nicolas cage. Sean Connery is awesome, no explanation needed. And it has music by Hans Zimmer. What more can you ask for in a movie?

I hate Mass Effect 2 so much right now. On the final boss on Insanity mode. Holy shit. I can't even think straight the game is pissing me off so much. I get so close. "One more shot" I says, "one more shot and I'll win. And I won't ever have to do this again!" and then BAM, instant death. I feel like I'm gonna have a goddamn heartattack I was so pissed off at it.

The worst bit for me was when you're using the biotic create a shield to defend you from those fly things, then they decide it's a good time to send two Scions to attack you. Who have massive health pools and can kill you in two shots.

 

Not to mention all the husks/abominations that keep spawning while you're holding off this Scion.

Okay that part was bad too, but I'm talking about the FINAL final boss, where you fight the giant human/reaper larva thing, whilst fighting a shitton of Collectors, whilst fighting Harbinger who never seems to leave you alone for a minute after you kill him. And I LITERALLY get to the last couple hits, and I die. Every single time. And it's not like it's just hard, it takes forever too. Spending 10-20 minutes at a time trying to bring this thing down while trying not to die.

I just used my biotic powers on the human reaper and killed Harbinger with a shotgun when he jumped into my cover. Otherwise I just kept my team alive with my stockpile of medi-gels and hoped they stayed alive to beat back the collectors.

It's hilarious, I'm trying to install a whatever this actually is and this is the treatment I get

Note that to use mingw, you'll need to run Start Menu => Programs => Mingw => MinGW Shell, or set your path manually (see below).

I go to All Programs\MinGW\, and the only thing that's there is the uninstall file! What the hell am I even doing?

 

Edit: Turns out you need to tell the installer to install the shell, which happens to be the only way of using the program. Who knew?
