Should Ross have been slower?

I was thinking more along the lines of getting different high-rez models for the women, but keeping all the rest. (the women are the only ones that aren't based on the HL2 models) Maybe a different barney, but probly not. If absolutely nothing else, the v4 models were mid-rez versions of the HL2 ones.

I do not approve of Ross using the Cinematic Mod for Half-Life 2. I would rather he not even do Half-Life 2 than that he do it with that awful thing, or any other custom visual setup.

Really, the only gripe I'd have against Cinematic Mod other than the models would be that, I'd like to consider HL2 to be old enough to feel nostalgia over. Having Cinematic Mod on would kind of ruin that, in a way. I know FM isn't all about nostalgia, I just felt like pointing that out.

Yep, nostalgia for the game I remember playing is what got me interested. Ross's humor and one liners got me to listen. The two together got me to stay. The Anticipation of what will happen next has gotten me this far. I don't think a remake would fly too well but it is one of the possibilities.

To each their own, I just prefer the higher visual quality, and lack of immersion breaking graphics. (like the almost 8-bit leaves on the trees)
