RIP Neil Armstrong

Apparently Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the surface of the moon, has died today at the age of 82.

Yeah. It's sad he's gone, I just learned about it when I got back home.

He was the template for space explorers: a man with great character and at the same time, a simple and down to earth guy, coupled with huge technical expertise and nerves of steel.

 

I saw this quote on Slashdot, and though it to be very fitting for the occasion.
