For quite a while now, my user reputation screen has only showed a couple entries (seven entries at current view) but, when I go to other users' reputation screen, I see 30 or 40 entries (if they have enough + or - rep to have that many entries).

 

Why are most of my user rep entries hidden or absent?

This is quite likely due to the fact that when the reputation system first was implemented, people didn't have to give a reason and we didn't have any way to moderate or check rep points. This was also the time when BTG got his -200 rep points.

 

Anyway, after we implemented it, people had to give a reason, and it would show on the profile. Most likely you have received a lot of points before this was implemented so only your most recent rep points are showing on your profile.

Not a bad suggestion, though I personally wouldn't use it.

I don't think it can be reset, and even if it could, it's just statistics.

I think that you should change the error code to say "Error 503: Server was shot by a 12 gauge"

Agreed, though I can deal without it... (free scroll wheel on my G700 mouse can go through an entire page in about 1.5 seconds)

it means you have 16 points to give people, but only 4 left of what's been given to and taken from you. i think you gain 2 points to give for every 1 rep you get.

No idea, but we've been busy keeping the forum as clean as possible lately. Hopefully the admins are working on getting some better security measures in place, but on the mod side there is not much we can do aside from just banning them and deleting their posts.

The only other thing that could be done, and I don't think that regular mods would have that capability, is to turn on some sort of CAPTCHA or other registration device so that spambots can't automatically register and post.
