Just as a somewhat half-serious request, maybe some silly personalization on the things like "You can't give yourself reputation!". also so happy the forum is up!

Kind of funny you say that because the reputation system is completely homemade, so you can't get much more personallised.

 

I don't see why there can't be different messages though, perhaps relating to Civil Protection or Freeman's Mind.

This is just a minor thing, but when I went to the main site and triet to access the forums from the last post ("Forums launched yet again"), the forum landing page said "The requested topic does not exist.".

 

Also, I noticed that the add comment link on this page http://www.accursedfarms.com/forums-launched-yet-again/, still points to the wordpress comment system.

 

As I said, minor things. If you can look into it, great. If not, no one is going to day.

Exactly what i was thinking, just some special witty things, maybe even a picture of a person putting star stickers on themselves for the "You can't give yourself reputation!" thing it doesnt have to be well made just in good taste

You should allow the users to set how many post they can see per page. People with better PC's may want more per page, while people with crappy PC's can lower the amount of post seen to help load pages.

Is there actually a size limit restriction for how big images can be in signatures? I know there's a character limit, but there doesn't seem to be an image size limit...

 

Only I've seen the odd signature on this forum with rather large images in them.

And what do you mean won't load? How far did you get? Were you able to download the zip file from phpBB.com?

I think phpbb.com are having some problems with rewriting URLs, in Firefox that link tries to open an 'application/octet-stream', works in IE though.

But if it's at the install stage you're getting an error, remember that you need to edit the twilightBB style package, instead of prosilver/subsilver2. I always forget that.

The forums looks nice, but I have a suggestion: Show post count. It's not a big deal, but it would be cool if it would show a user's post count when i'm looking at a post the user made. Y'know, like lots of other forums?

I would really like a button that marks all posts as "Read", getting rid of all those New Post Icons, so I know where the actual new posts are.

This a bit odd. I see, that links are coloured here, but over at soundtrack section they aren't. See my post - it contains both, BBCode, and non-BBCode link, and it appears in the same colour, as other text.
