A somewhat tedious suggestion I have would be to make it ajax. Giving rep to someone shouldn't be as drawn out as loading a whole other page. The forum I coded as an experiment a while back used this method, and worked wonders.

How is that tedious? It's only a quick system.

Fun fact: reputation messages are already coded just not visible, so when you look in your profile for reputation received when I activate it, you will see a bunch of blank reputation received (if you have any)!

Nice work on the list, Jexius.

 

Should be interesting to see how things look when you implement the reputation descriptions and the ability to be able to view them in your own profile.

 

Perhaps you could also add a 'reputation given' section on the UCP, where you can view who you've given reputation to, and what message you put.

I've just realised that post counts haven't been disabled, they've merely been removed from our public mini-profiles next to our posts. You can view post counts in user profiles, and on the Members page. Alyxx you have an insane amount of posts.

Well that's...odd. I'm pretty sure normal users adding/removing reputation is testing it just fine.

Here's a suggestion Jexius, give moderators the ability to moderate reputation, or add some limits of some kind, so that people can't just blanket rep or -rep entire threads like this maniac.

From what I've seen of your posts, I know they're not simple one word or no words spam posts, I just wonder how you have managed to find the time.
