The banner is killing me

I know this isn't anything important. But i just like to say that when i normally use other forums i always click the big top banner to get back to the board index. But the one on this forum brings me back to the AF website and i keep accidentally clicking on it xD

I don't know whether this will be changed or not, nor do i REALLY care. Just saying that it is a little annoying

Right below the banner, and the 5 buttons (Help, Members, Search, UCP, PMs) is the forum section list... It's kind of like the address bar you have when you're browsing the folders on your hard drive.

 

Just click the root sections to go back to that section.

 

I personally love having the banner go to the main site, makes more sense to me than having a button for it on the bar beneath it.

The banner is the only button that links from the forum to the homepage. Unless other buttons get added that link to the homepage from the forum, to me it seems to make sense to have the banner link to the homepage.

Same. I'm slowly getting used to Board Index though.

Same... Too many forums have the bug that won't reset the "New Post" icon if you don't.

Huh, I love the banner as a means to get to the website, but I haven't really been active on other forums so...

I use the Board Index link myself so the banner doesn't bother me.

I'm used to the banner being a link to the homepage... Haven't been on many forums though

You guys can stop bumping this thread lol, by now i have gotten used to using the Board index link.
