Is it just me, or did the Gman sound constipated in Half-Life 1?

 

Kinda ruined the mood for me.

No, he sounds like he's not used to speaking in English as a human being, really it adds to the creepiness of him because it shows he's obviously not like you.

Great. So it IS just me.

 

So not only can I not stop associating the Gman's HL1 dialogue with dyssynergic defaecation, I have no one to confide in.

I know he was meant to sound uncomfortable. The problem is, he does.

 

For all the wrong reasons.

No because a stroke would leave less facial control and he would sound a bit more slurred.
