My problem with Portal 2

The thing that I love so much about Portal 1 is that the test chambers, at least the early ones, were fairly unambitious and boring, making it that much more disturbing when something deadly was introduced.

With Portal 2, you’re quite literally put in an unrealistic amount of danger from the get-go, thinning out that feeling of “oh-my-God-what-is-wrong-with-this-place?” that was instinctively there in Portal 1.

Play the Portal: Alive & Kicking demo. It gets it spot-on.
