Getting a new laptop just asking around if people think this laptop would be good for its price. (Im not going higher than $1000) (IF you know of a laptop which is better than this on and it is $1000 and under could you give me a link )

That is actually quite good for the price... I'd be hard pressed to find something better in your price range.
