I liked it. It was cleverly written and didn't take itself too seriously. It was also very cleverly constructed from a movie-maker's perspective, the effects were very light, and they only needed a handful of sets. The lack of a monster hindered it, but allowed the viewer to put in whatever he wanted (for me, it was mantis-men). Very well done.

Yep, definitely had a b-movie quality to it, not that it was a bad thing though. I love low-budget films.

I prefer not seeing the monster over either some crappy CGI or bad costume/prop.

I agree with Kirk. It's more efficient when your own fantasy is allowed to play along. It's like you feel more involved in it. On low budget films it's always better that way.

Ha, that was pretty good; I really like the sound design. The acting really stood out too, which is unusual for small independent films like this.
