IF you get in gaming magazines sites, or if you are a fan of bioware, or maybe if you are a fan of the saga, you've probably heard.

There is a lot of speculation around this: http://baldursgate.com/

The domain is owned by a ex Bioware dev. Trent Oster (http://twitter.com/#!/trentoster). He worked in BG engine if im not wrong, and took care of the direction of Neverwinter Nights.

If you check the website source code you'll find some teasing phrases, anyways, here are some of the notes in gaming sites i've checked:

Also, the post in the bioware forums, i think one of the posts around the net which started the thing...

The best co-op experience I have ever had was playing Dark Alliance 2, so I am in full favor of another Baldur's Gate! :D:D:D:D

"Alyxx Thorne: Batman/10"

"HLPrincess: Also, I'm very proud we have Batman Himself on the Forum."

but I think that now when BioWare have finished the Mass Effect trilogy they could have more time to work on another.

No. Dragon Age: Origins was Baldur's Gate's spiritual successor. BG doesn't have the brand power that DA has on console so they'd just make DA3 instead.

Anyways, BG does not belong to Bioware anymore, so they won't be doing anything related to it.

As i pointed, Oster is an EX Bioware employee, his studio is Beamdog now.
