Yeah...the alpha has been around for years. And is in no way representative of the current state of the mod.

 

According to an interview RPS did to Carlos Montero, the proyect director it's not even a mod anymore. It'll be a standalone game that won't have need for HL2 or any source game to be installed on your computer.

Too well into development to just scrap the work they already have. What I'm hoping for is remakes of other HL mods with BM assets.
