So... this guy is pretty famous. Been stalk... following him since 2006 when he started his site so I'm definitely what you may consider a long-time fan of the guy, and also of his other non-AVGN projects.

This guy is awesome. His reviews are funny and in my opinion, usually highly accurate. Being from the same generation and owning a comparable collection, makes me proud. Beware of impostors though. The Irate Gamer is a complete rip off, and even went as far as to bash Super Mario Bros 3 (he will never be forgiven for that). I loved the Superman 64 review.

I don't follow him as closely as I used to. I guess it's because his newer videos are boring and uninspiring. When I watch him I usually watch the older videos.

Well said, sir. I'm still subscribed to Irate Gamer even though his videos aren't fun to watch anymore. I'm waiting for his next part history of video games. Some say the facts are twisted and inaccurate, though

Did you know about Jame Rolf wanting to make The Angry Video Game Nerd Movie? I don't really see how it can't make it into theaters (Like he said might happen in the video in the link) since Fred: The Movie (for a lack of a good example) had no problem getting in there over here in England and that was... well I guess you had to have seen it to wonder why it was made.

I know about that, and I think he'd have to take a break from his usual AVGN episodes to get it made.

Angry reviewing is pointless in itself, and the AVGN is one of the only good "reviewers" out there (probably because he's an amateur filmmaker who knows what he's doing).

That, and because his reviews are more in-character than most reviewers, making him a bit less boring because of all the additional swearing and focus on bad games.

I like AVGN, but I don't really like most of the specially angry parts. I mean, it's not really that funny to see him shit on top of a video game cartridge, and throw it in a fire. Usually I skip those parts. But the reviews themselves are pretty awesome. I wish he made some more genuine reviews, because the only thing I don't like is when he has to act surprised about something when it is clearly just acting. If we could see everything happening in real time, it probably would be funnier.

I also really enjoy his cinemassacre videos, when he does movie reviews and other movie topics, I hope to see more from James. Also I had no idea he was married.
