Waiting for a release of the Alien: Isolation soundtrack (if it hasn't been already). Extremely reminiscent of the original Alien score but that's the point. They managed to license the original score and re-record loads of it plus new original material for the game. They even got a few of the original musicians who were part of the orchestra for the original score recordings to be a part of these new recording sessions.

"I tell you one thing: I've been to a parallel universe, I've seen time running backwards, I've played pool with planets, and I've given birth to twins, but I never thought in my entire life I'd taste an edible Pot Noodle."

I'm surprised that I didn't find anything from the Payday franchise here.

I honestly can't say there's a bad song in the entire Payday 2 soundtrack.

This particularly sexy song I was listening to just before this post.

The topic kinda died down here, let's revive it! :D

I didn't include TES and Valve games soundtracks.

Many games for me pop up, but my hands down favorite soundtracks are from the Myst franchise, especially Myst III, IV and Uru...it's almost the only game music I enjoy listening to outside actual game play.

Those two tracks from the game Alan Wake created for the game by the finnish band Poets of the Fall(same guys who made the end credits song for another of Remedy's games Max Payne 2)

No Jet Set Radio? For shame.

Edit: This video seems to be sped up slightly. I would recommend listening to the songs individually.

Figured if we were talking video game music, we needed some Touhou in here.

I forgot how good the DX:HR soundtrack was. Loved the Soundtrack of the original (HK Market!) but I think the HR one is even better. It seems more...nuanced and grown up, if that is possible?

Did Ross ever get around playing the newer DX? I think he mentioned the old ones but HR might be too new for him.

I always feel like wrestling games never get the love they deserve for their soundtrack (even from the wrestling game community).
