Suggest additional forum sections here

Recommended Posts

The different forum sections were based on viewer suggestions for what they wanted to discuss here. The "Valve Games" section is an example of this, that wasn't one that occurred to me. If there are other topics that enough people want to see that aren't here yet, go ahead and suggest them here.

There's a section for mod development, but not a section for discussing mods themselves. I think it might be an idea to have a separate section for mods from general game discussion.

Feel free to PM me about almost anything and I'll do my best to answer. :)

How about the gratuitous TF2 Item Trading Forum? Then people can donate hats to you, since you wont take their money.

Where is the best place for us to vent, complain and ceaselessly inquire about when the next episode is coming out?

that would immediately become the most popular board on the site

I which case I suggest making the Miscellaneous section that section. Down at the bottom, out of the way, easy to ignore those kind of posts...

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

In another forum I frequent, there's a sticky thread in the General (free for all) section, that is essentially just random conversation that doesn't really need it's own space raping topic, known as the Jibber Jabber thread. Anything from quick, random conversation, to (tasteful) debates, to advice. It gets swarmed, surely, but it's really helpful with keeping everything neat. It's like a forum-based chatroom without porn spammers. It's really the only thing I go on most forums for.

Essentially, close to what was already suggested, just a little more in depth explaination...

I think it might be cool to have a help wanted/offered section. From what i understand this is done mainly by email which must lead to some massive backlog, if there were a forum section it might be easier to peruse and you could have moderators help organise it. Not too mention if Ross can't find a use for some people maybe someone else on the forum can as there have been project ideas going around every now and again. A Rogues Gallery of animators, writers, sound people and who knows what else.

I would suggest making IRC work again.

Lot of us have Flash Player disabled, so IRC client does not work for us.

Also the server that it points at, irc.kottnet.net, does not have channel called #accursedfarms.

Are there any other ways to get real-time communication going on with Accursed Farms community?
