Question

So first of all this is not a request, just a quick question. Why aren't topic posters allowed to lock their own thread? I mostly see that only staff can lock topics, but I have lately also seen a few forums where people can lock topics they created and It didn't see to make any trouble. Its just that normally you have to request a lock and wait for a staff member to see it and its a little inconvenient.

Well I could do that, but that'd mean the person who created the thread could ragelock it.

Most mods are active here, especially me. Just send a PM or something, and it's quick job. If you're not willing to go through that to get a thread locked, then it's probably not worth it.
