It is apparently from a North Korean children's cartoon. The picture is of an anthropomorphic ear of corn. The anthropomorphic vegetables join together into an army to fight off anthropomorphic blights, plagues, and pestilences to protect the crops. The army is victorious and, to celebrate, the anthropomorphic potatoes are happily killed and turned into food, such as potato chips.

Moral of the story: If you work your hardest and battle your mightiest, you'll be worthy of sacrificing your life for your country. Yay North Korea. ;)
