I've already emailed Ross about fixing up his site, but I've got no reply. It's disturbing really. I've already started to work on it as I've been bored. But not knowing if I can do it or not is just makes things go slow.

 

I sense that me email has ended up in his trash filter. And maybe it's so that I should wait a little longer. But I don't know really.

Should I port them over, and try porting the comments too, or should I port them and leave the comments to the database, or should all the old pages be left to do nothing?

 

It's something to think about really. Leaving the old site would be kinda good IMO, but then it would still need a few safety fixes.

the movie "hackers" was great, but this is just... just.. blegh..

lets hope whoever did this runs into BIG (dutch (unofficial) hacker authority) those guys will send him packing and wont even leave him access to so much as a remote controle.

But seriously, when we use hacker we don't mean the good hacker, its sort of like the word vigilantly. There's the "does it to help innocent people and does good deeds" vigilant, and then there's the "sadistic all criminals should be punished and has no concern for victims safety" vigilant. Sort of like superman and venom (when he tried to be good)

Oh yeah, this is the work of script kiddies. Even a black hat wouldn't type like that. And the fact that some of the commenters managed to track it down to a specific address proves the retardation. And no real hacker would use the alias "NUTS".

I'm thinking it's just two twelve year olds who haven't been outside in the past few months, and think they're amazing hackers because they managed to script-kiddie their way into an already vulnerable site.

This sort of thing simply amuses me. What would be even more amusing would be if someone called the cops and they got busted.
