Where do you buy your games?

Recommended Posts

Simple enough question. I buy most of mine on Steam. Though i am considering to start buying new releases from thehub.com because they are a lot cheaper there(for example Deus Ex: HR is only 30€ and on Steam it is 60€). I haven't bought any games myself there yet, but my brother buys stuff regularly there and has suggested it to me.

HMV for me, I would buy more through Steam if my connection wasn't just dial-up without the funky ring-tone. Download speeds nawt fun. And how could "theHub.com" stand to make a profit for selling a 60 euro game for 30? This is madness!

That's what I'm wondering to. Then again, how can steam make profits during their ridiculous season sales?

Steam. Gamestop's going to be obsolete once digital distribution for consoles really takes off during a time where having internet is standard in any part of the world. Though the Africa factor may delay such an occurrence...wow I am a terrible person.

I love you, yet can't stand to know you exist.

Gamestop, but not too often. I haven't bought a game in several months. I like to head to places like a Flea Market where I can buy old games for dirt cheap.

I usually don't buy games, but when I do, I prefer Steam.

Stores or Internet. I don't buy games on Steam. I got Steam with The Orange box I bought IRL.

Steam, Amazon.co.uk, Play.com.....I did used to use WHSmithEntertainment, but then they stopped selling games and DVDs. :(

There is this store a bit away from me where they sell tons of old games.

Love that place.

Either GameStop or Disc Replay. Usually Disc Replay as they sell WAY cheaper than GameStop. I haven't bought a single game on my Steam list, my friend gifts me most of my Steam games.

Anywhere you can get games other than GameStop is a good deal in itself.

Gamestop Walmart and Ebay. I only use Walmart when the game has been out for awhile. I hate Gamestop due to there idiot workers and lack of service.
