Not really surprising. The C-64 was a more powerful machine.

 

I've always regretted, when my father asked me which one I wanted: an Atari 65 XE or a Commodore C-64, choosing the first one. Not that I didn't enjoy a lot of the games, but my best friend had a C-64 and I was always jealous of the incredible things he could do with it.

 

Anyway, I just finished a playthrough for the 1985 game, Zorro.

The Goonies Playthrough for Atari 65XE/800XL.

 

It actually went very smoothly. Did die a couple of times, but since I saved states from the beginning of each stage, I was able to go back and redo them. Now it looks like one flawless playtrough
