I think the Tomb Raider series was one of the reasons people got a PSX in the first place. Great level design, atmosphere and sense of adventure about them, almost like an interactive Indiana Jones movie, only with a tough-as-nails heroine instead.

I hated Disco Inferno, that level was so confusing. THAT GAME WAS WEIRDER THAN THE FOURTH OF JULY AT RICK JAMES' PLACE!

I didn't have a PS1, but I played a few PS1 games on the PS2. I enjoyed the original Crash Bandicoot and the original Rayman .
